Half Day Goa Shore Excursion

Begin the tour with a drive to Old Goa. Visit the Se Cathedral. This cathedral is old Goa’s most imposing church and is biggest in Asia. Known for its five bells, including the famous Golden Bell, this cathedral is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and boasts a spectacular vaulted interior.

After that, visit the 16th century Basilica of Bom Jesus, Goa’s best-known church. Admire this ornate UNESCO-listed church and see its prized treasure - the 17th century silver casket containing the remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Next, head towards the 17th century St. Francis of Assisi Church to see its interior paintings and Manueline-style architecture.

After visiting the churches in Old Goa, stop at the Shri Shantadurga Temple that belongs to the Goud Saraswat Brahmin community for a look at the Hindu religion.

Then proceed towards the Sahakari Spice Farm. This farm is a lush garden that specializes in the cultivation of spices & herbs. Enjoy a guided stroll to discover the exotic plants growing here.

Have lunch at the Sahakari Spice Farm.

Finally, stop at Fontainhas, Goa's Latin Quarter for a look at the old Portuguese homes, winding streets, quaint shops, bakeries and restaurants.

At the end of the tour, return back to the hotel / airport / port with good memories.

Dress code - Temples are a sacred houses of God and a place worship. To preserve there sanctity and spiritual ambiance one must follow the dress code within temple complexes. One must cover the shoulders, chest, navel, and upper arms. One must be at least below knee-length.
Remove footwear outside the temple. Socks are fine, one can keep wearing them.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
